A Falcon 50 private business jet that departed from Ankara Esenboğa Airport lost radar contact shortly after takeoff on Wednesday evening, prompting authorities to temporarily close Ankara’s airspace.
The aircraft, which was en route to Tripoli, reportedly experienced an electrical failure while airborne. An emergency landing signal was received near the Haymana district before contact with the jet was completely lost.
Search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and the wreckage of the aircraft has been located, according to the latest information shared by authorities.
